Drama Dept

Wild Theatre needs a nice home: how will it be?

  1. A place to store flats and set pieces would be really great, because as it is right now, we have a small enough space to rehearse in and all the set stuff just makes it even smaller.

Perhaps we could get an auditorium where we could practice will a full sized stage so that we actually get the feel for how much space we will have to cover and use before the dress rehearsal, and a place where the director could see the full stage movements from the audience's perspective.

  2. On stagecraft; A freight door, a right, proper shop for making flats and sets. A storage space for flats, and props while they are not in use.

On Drama; A black box theatre would be nice, that small productions, or entertainment nights could take place for friends, family and community .

Built in lights, and backlights, for these would be great for these nights, as well as for testing backlight props would be nice.

  3. A room for DFT with green screen, lights and bigger workstations so that it's not that crowded anymore. Maybe a connection to the musiccomposition class.
