The Big Picture



Here is a list of all the elements we are hoping to include (unless we aren’t?): please check it for mistakes or omissions. A big challenge will be to allow for multiple purposes and interconnections, as we aim to build a centre in which the community would genuinely feel welcome:
1. so our students can reach out and start networking,
2. so the building can stay alive after hours—adult education, clubs, etc.
Please give some thoughts to making the future friendly.

Outdoors:
Taking advantage of winter? (What would Swedes do?)
 Green building (taking cues from the Vancouver Convention Centre—beehives on the roof, anyone?) 
 Courtyard? Balconies? Patios?
 Peace Pole + multiculturalism + Aboriginal pride
