This, along with the binder in the staff room, is where you can contribute ideas to the new school's design.
Click on the appropriate links and type your heart away in the comment section! (Problem? see Fred S. or email him at sd5 and he’ll post your stuff. Nice, eh?)
If you have some interesting links of your own, by all means, share them with the rest of us!
A place to store flats and set pieces would be really great, because as it is right now, we have a small enough space to rehearse in and all the set stuff just makes it even smaller.
ReplyDeletePerhaps we could get an auditorium where we could practice will a full sized stage so that we actually get the feel for how much space we will have to cover and use before the dress rehearsal, and a place where the director could see the full stage movements from the audience's perspective.
On stagecraft; A freight door, a right, proper shop for making flats and sets. A storage space for flats, and props while they are not in use.
ReplyDeleteOn Drama; A black box theatre would be nice, that small productions, or entertainment nights could take place for friends, family and community .
Built in lights, and backlights, for these would be great for these nights, as well as for testing backlight props would be nice.
A room for DFT with green screen, lights and bigger workstations so that it's not that crowded anymore. Maybe a connection to the musiccomposition class.
