grass on the roof sounds really cool, maybe solar panels or something? but if we had bee hives on the roof then the danger of having bees come and stinging the students
ReplyDeleteemphasis on recycling, perhaps a central recycling center.
ReplyDeleteAccesible compost areas to reduce organic/food waste (vancouver aquarium has an excellent setup)
Perhaps set up a community style garden (if Mrs. Obama can do, so can we!)maybe incorporated into foods class? Growing and perhaps selling locally grown organic produce.
Free store/clothing swap where students can bring in items that they no longer use (books, clothing, etc) and trade/swap/give away.
Solar panels would be a great idea! We also need lots of windows so we can take advantage of the natural lighting.
