Entrances, hallways

How do we make people feel welcome?

How do we help everyone find their way?

How do we manage space so people can actually move between classes?

How do we facilitate recycling?

  1. We need welcoming - bring the outdoors in. I like the entrance from Glacier High in Kalispell, Montana. We would need to make it our own but it is a good starting point for discussion. I'll ask Fred to post the photo because I can't seem to.

  3. I like the idea of the colourful recycling bins in the picture above. I think Mount Baker needs more paper recycling bins. They need to be easy to find and in convenient locations in order for people to use them.

  4. I definatly think we need bigger hallways!! They are to crowded, and sometimes it's hard to get around and to get to classes on time due to a crowded hallway. People push and shove and it gets really annoying. We need bigger hallways so we can actually move!

  5. I think we need a real grand entrance with a more artistic feel. Not just plain. And I think the hallways should be bigger as well

  6. We need more space, and bigger lockers. It's crazy when the bell rings cause every student is squeezing to get through, it's ridicules!! what else is ridicules is that your trying to get through to your locker, and yet having the enough time to go to your next class....

  7. Need: bigger hallways so there would be no more traffic jams while changing classes. Bigger lockers, cuz ours is to small. and an accutual entrance that does make you feel welcome. something with a feeling that is artistic, we love our fine arts.
