Outdoor theatre / teaching space

In the summertime, when the weather is fine...
how about we teach classes outside?

What if our picnic tables could be set up so the space could also be used effectively during classtime?

What about an amphitheatre for outdoor performances?

Any ideas?

  1. It would be nice so that we don't have stay cooped up in a classroom all day when it is a nice day out. Also it would be good for the forestry classes to be taught outside so that they can experience natur first hand.

  5. I think this would be a fantastic idea. But it might also distract people lots. If you could come up with a way to keep people focused Im all for it.

  9. Maybe some outdoor seating facing the field because last week there were tons on people outside watching the rugby games and there was nowhere to sit! Lots of people were sitting on the grass on the small drop to the field, but there were still lots of people standing....

  10. In the summertime when the weather is fine I think we will all be on summer vacation!

If the weather is really nice and a teacher wants to take his class outside sitting on the grass won't hurt anyone.

Does the forestry class never venture out to the forest? Being on school grounds wouldn't be the same as being in a real forest.
